Every fashion week brings us a new set of trends, clothes and most importantly beauty looks — and this past NYFW Fall/Winter 2019 was no different. This season, we ogled at Swarovski crystals from head to toe and Fantasia-esque lip finishes, which left us on the edge of our seats, excited for more. Ahead, we sum up our favorite beauty looks in the best way we know how — superlative style!

Most Likely to Put Kira Kira to Shame: The Makeup at Christian Siriano
Inspired by Siriano’s ethereal collection, Maybelline New York Global Makeup Artist Erin Parsons created a “veil of crystals” for each model paired with some of our favorite Maybelline products. For foundation and highlight, she started with the Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation and topped it off with the FaceStudio Master Strobing Stick. Next, she coated models’lashes with the Snapscara Washable Mascara in Deja Blue and added a touch of the Made For All Lipstick in Pink For Me on their lips. Finally, she sprinkled Swarovski crystals all over the face for a real-life Kira Kira effect.

Most Likely to Make You Want to Belt Frank Sinatra: The Nails at Jeremy Scott
Jeremy Scott FW19 was all about celebrating the energy of New York City — and that’s exactly how nail pro Miss Pop created her concept for the corresponding super cool manicures. “I’m calling these extra, extra nails,” she told us backstage. “They’re a pop-art twist on the traditional newspaper type.” Using Essie Blanc and Licorice, each model’s hand spelled out ‘New York’ on various fingertips, complete with a few cute dot detail designs. To DIY this nail art at home, Miss Pop recommends using sticky letters you can find at your nearest craft store. Complete the look with the Speed Setter Topcoat, and don’t blame us if you find yourself singing New York New York while you do.

Most Likely to Transport You to Fantasia’s Universe: The Makeup at Alice + Olivia
To complement the ‘magical’ show set put on by Stacey Bendet at Alice + Olivia this winter season, Parsons used Maybelline New York products to create the most Fantasia-like eye and lip combination using bold liner and glittery shadow. To create the powerful bordeaux look, she traced models’ lips with the Color Sensational Shaping Lip Liner in Plump Passion and blended it out toward the center of the mouth using a fluffy brush. Next, she added a layer of the Superstay Matte Ink in Composer over the lined portions, and swiped on Pioneer at the center of the mouth to create a dark ombré effect. To complete the look, she added the Color Sensational Vivid Hot Lacquer Lip Gloss in Slay It over top.

Most Likely to Become the New Blurred Trend of 2019: The Nails at Proenza Schouler
One of two nail looks by Essie Artist Rita Remark for Proenza Schouler FW 19 was a nude (nearly barely there) blurred matte that we can’t wait to replicate as soon as possible. After applying a base coat, Remark started with one coat of Essie Mademoiselle for a fresh and clean effect. Next, she set the nails with Matte About You Top Coat for a buffed, blurred finish.

Most Likely to Look Gorgeous on Everyone: The Makeup at  Cushnie
As always, Cushnie blew us away with its female-empowered collection, and Lead Artist for Maybelline New York Grace Lee only made an even stronger case for this with her monochrome makeup look. She lined models’ eyes using the Eye Studio Master Precise All Day Liquid Eyeliner and defined their natural brows with the TattooStudio Brow Pomade. For the lips, she used a stunning combination of the Superstay Matte Ink Lipstick in Globetrotter and the Color Sensational Made For All Lipstick in Spice For Me — creating a warm glow that suited every single skin tone on the runway.
