Romantic Hairstyles Perfect for Date Night

Date nights are my favorite — and not just because I get to spend quality time with my beau. I also use it as an excuse to experiment with fun, flirty hairstyles. Trust me, putting in the extra effort to swap my everyday style for captivating braids or glossy waves makes date night feel like a special occasion and enhances the overall experience. So whether you want to switch up your hair for Valentine’s day or step out of the box for your weekly date night, find six easy-to-replicate romantic hairstyles below.

Romantic Bubble Twists

Love the look of braids but struggle to braid yourself? Try this style from influencer Ceren Sagtekin instead. Her easy-to-follow technique involves looping and twisting hair for a similar effect that takes half the time to complete.

Baby Braids and Waves

Subtly upgrade your everyday waves by framing your face with two tiny braids.

Half and Half

Rather than deciding between romantic waves or fun braids, incorporate both for an exciting, unexpected style. Use a wand curling iron to create beachy waves on one side of your head and on the other side, section hair into two parts to make two separate braids that flow into each other. Be sure to spritz on the L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hairspray to softly lock in the look.

Flirty Headband

If you’re short on time, all you need is a headband to create a cute, flirty hairdo in seconds. Take a note from influencer Carmen Lynnette and choose a headband that matches your nails for a perfectly put together look.

Pumped Up Pony

Curl your hair for some serious volume then gather and secure it in a ponytail near the top of your crown. Gently loosen some wispy pieces near your face for a more whimsical vibe.

Barbie Vibes

It’s the small touches — like the curled ends and the cute barrettes — that make this half-up hairstyle extra dreamy. For added glossiness, use the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Glass Hair Water before styling.
