How to Pull off a High Fashion Hair Tuck

  • STEP 1:

    Create a Loose Braid

    Section your hair into three pieces and begin to loosely braid your hair at the back of your head, stopping after two crossovers.

  • STEP 2:

    Add Volume

    Holding onto your mini braid, pull one of the sections away from your head as you push the other two upwards to add volume to your hair.

  • STEP 3:

    Secure Your Hair

    Using a no-crease hair tie, secure the bottom of the braid at the nape of your neck.


  • STEP 4:

    Soften the Look

    Pull out some wispy pieces near your face to soften the look. Tip: make sure to spritz on the L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hairspray to give it some hold. Then, drape your coat over your hair. The end result gives you the illusion of a bob for a high fashion look.
