The Latest Floral Lip Trend Circulating IG Is So Stunning It’s Actually Art

As beauty editors, it’s our job to research all of the buzzy new products, makeup looks and makeup tutorials that pop up on Instagram. We’ll be honest, though, during our countless hours of scrolling we’re often bombarded with the same recurring trends, like that staple French girl red lipglossy eyes and, most recently, rhinestone everything. Every once in awhile, though, we come up on a look that is so innovative and captivating, it sends us in a two-hour Instagram spiral looking for different variations and searching for tips on how to recreate it. Case and point: glossy floral lips. This trending look that recently hit our radars has us begging for more so, we gathered a few of our favorite looks (plus must-have lip products to help you recreate them) and are sharing more inspiration of these pretty flower pouts, ahead.

Paisley Blue Florals
@LunarLustLips has us mesmerized with these gorgeous blue florals on her lips. Her secret? Nail tattoos. Create this look by carefully applying nail tattoos on your lips and coating them with a shiny clear gloss like the Maybelline New York Lip Studio Shine Shot Lip Topcoat.

Floral Outline
These lips remind us of a beautiful botanical garden in the middle of spring. Try recreating this pretty pout by focusing floral lip stickers on the outline of your mouth and using a tinted high shine lip gloss, like the Urban Decay Lip Plumper in Cherry, for a finishing touch.

Daisies and Dandelions
There’s no denying our love for @marthamakeupartist and her lip creations. And these daisies and dandelions are an absolute favorite. These masterfully painted florals pay homage to our favorite season in the best way.

Rose-y Pout
Another look that reminds us of spring in full bloom is this rosy creation by Meghan Baldini. Check out her page for more inspiring looks and tutorials on how to create all different types of lip art.

Dreamy Blues
These dreamy blue lips are giving “winter blues” a totally new meaning. Try this cool-toned combo this fall and winter using the NYX Professional Makeup Macaron Lippies in Lavender as a similar purple base.
